Staying 24 hrs at KaatiKaddu is like no other!

If you stay at our Cottages or Campsite in Shakleshpur you can expect a constant breeze throughout the day, and sound of birding chirping throughout, some even sing through most of the day, it's something truly brilliant. There's the constant sound of water flow from the perennial stream that runs through the property and a trek through the valley will reveal numerous shady trees that make sure you are protected from the sharp sun.

The jungle vibes are all round, vibrant and luscious green. A walk through the property will have you spotting areca nut trees, wild jackfruit, and huge mango trees. Birds are plenty, for anyone into birding, flame-throated bulbul, Malabar parakeets, and Malabar grey hornbills are some from the long list we've managed to identify.
As evening sets in, you'll have the chorus masters of the jungle playing in, we call them the “The frog and cricket choir” they'll take the evening setting to a whole different level. While frogs play hide and seek, the campfire is running, and the noise of the breeze rustles against the leaves, life seems to get more beautiful.

Getting darker each hour, your imagination is left to run wild, all sounds only amplified as you hope to spot some wildlife on a dinner run. Our menu is kept simple, waiting to be devoured along with your drink of choice. Heating up by the fire and unwinding is a state of happiness you'll long for after a busy day trekking and sight seeing.
Tucking yourself into bed with the warmest blanket, will leave you having the most peaceful sleep. You're guaranteed to wake up looking out the window or balcony at the green vegetation, wanting a minute to truly take it in. With the sounds of the birds and nature, the real sound of nature - not the IG ones. It's 24 hrs that you'll hope is on repeat!
